Atalanta. Arboretum

Original oil painting on canvas, 60x80 cm, executed on a stretcher. Image of the antique sculpture of Atalanta from the Sochi Arboretum Park, immersed in lush greenery. Light and shadows play on the surface of the marble, creating a sense of movement and lightness, as if the figure is trying to escape the park. This is part of a series dedicated to the mythology, nature and southern culture of Sochi. The work was painted in 2025. A wonderful accent for the interior, carrying the spirit of the southern summer and a philosophical symbol of search and freedom.
