In the hospital

This picture is about the heroism of my hometown Sochi, which was turned into a hospital city.
All the health resorts were converted into hospitals, and all the city residents, including children, helped the wounded soldiers, doctors performed operations for days, women carried the wounded on stretchers from the train station to the distribution point, which was located in the Caucasian Riviera sanatorium, and this is quite far! After that, the wounded were distributed to different hospitals depending on the type of injury.
After school, children went to the forest, collected moss, which they stuffed pillows, mattresses, and also used instead of cotton wool. They caught fish, even dolphins were eaten. Bandages were washed in the sea, and then dried on pebbles on the beaches, children helped roll them into rolls. Matsesta also played a big role in the healing of wounded soldiers. For this feat, the city of Sochi was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree.
