Professional contemporary portrait artist. Member of the Eurasian Art Union.

My work as an artist is not about copying features. It is about catching that split second when a person is truly themselves. I have been painting portraits for over 35 years, and in all that time, I have been driven by one interest: how to put a living mood on canvas rather than just a plot.

Education and Status:
My professional foundation was laid in a classical academic system, which I later adapted into my own signature style.

Achievements and Recognition:
My portraits have found resonance not only with private collectors but also within the professional art community. In recent years, my technique and the emotional depth of my work have been recognized in international competitions:
February 2026: 3rd Place at the Watercolorium International Competition (Portrait category), Beijing, China.
November 2025: 3rd Place at the Pets competition (Cats and Humans category).
October 2025: 2nd Place at the Male Image competition (Male Harmony category).

Creative Method:
Everything starts with a spark. It could be a frame from a film, a line in a book, or just a stranger's gaze. I layer strokes and colors until the portrait begins to breathe. It is important to me that every brushstroke becomes part of a quiet conversation with the viewer. I work in various techniques—from deep acrylics to soft pastels and graphics—choosing the medium that fits the specific emotion.
