The authors work, the only copy, bronze, casting, deep study of details, shading. The work was performed at the Academy-Art-Master enterprise (Rostov-on-Don, Rostov State University of Civil Engineering) in 1997. The best non-contact copy of the work of K.B.Rastrelli (1723), which is in the Hermitage.
The penetrating look, the angry expression of the face, inflexibility, intelligence, strength, will, temperament — everything that was combined in the character of Peter 1 is perfectly conveyed in this portrait. The ermine mantle developing behind the shoulders, the sharp curves and sharp angles of the silhouette of the sculpture, the glare of light on the nervous, mobile face further reveal the energy and impulse inherent in Peter.
