Still life with lilies. Expectation

"The room was filled with the pungent scent of lilies and the soft scent of a wax candle, like our voices. We were waiting for the news that was going to sound on the other side of the phone. Either my heart was beating so loudly, or you and I couldnt stop our thoughts."
The work is painted in oil with dry bristles, the accent candle holder is painted with reflective acrylic.
