Podosinovik Sasha

Biography

Sasha Podosinovik is an artist living and working in St.Petersburg, Russia.
Her style can be described as expressive realism and her main artistic principle is to catch the beauty of the everyday scenes concentrating on architecture and street views.
Sasha studied in an art school and took up several university art courses, since 2015 she has been experimenting with different approaches, techniques and drawing/painting media learning from different contemporary artists, and now she seems to have found her own way for the nearest future - she creates vivid mixed media paintings using acrylics, color pencils, gouache, oil and wax pastels and ink.
Sasha's artworks have taken part in several group exhibitions in Russia:
- Vasilievsky Island Youth House, St.Petersburg, group exhibition, 2019
- ECD, St.Petersburg, group exhibition, 2019-2020
- Nevskaya Palitra Creative space, St.Petersburg, group exhibition, 2021
- Summer 2021 Art-Seasons International, Evrasium Gallery, Moscow, 2021
And she has won several awards in art contests:
- 1st prize in Summer 2021 Art-Seasons International Exhibition and Contest (nomination: Architecture/Spring)
- 1st prize in Summer 2021 Art-Seasons International Exhibition and Contest (nomination: City and People/Winter)
- Honorable Mention Award in Landscape Art Show International
Her artworks have found home in private collections in Russia and Europe and public collection of Primorsk Local History Museum.
