Front view of an 18th century building in St.Petersburg #6

In this artwork I’m showing you the facade of Sheremetev Palace situated along Fontanka river in Saint Petersburg. It was built in the middle of 18th century and is a unique piece of early baroque manor architecture. The palace is also known as «the Fountain House», nowadays it belongs to the Music Museum and there is also a museum dedicated to Anna Akhmatova, a famous Russian poetess, in one of the wings.
