In this work, I wanted to capture the tenderness of the Russian landscape and the quiet in which it’s so easy to lose yourself. The whole world seems to pause, inviting you to slow down and simply breathe. I recommend framing the pastel with a mat and glass to protect the artwork from external influences. The painting is sold unframed.
I don’t aim to cover the entire surface of the canvas or paper — I intentionally leave small areas untouched. The color of the paper is chosen carefully and becomes part of the composition, adding light, air, and a sense of space. This approach gives the artwork freshness, lightness, and helps the viewer focus on what matters most.
