Preserved and brought to our days the endurance of the ancient shepherds of Central Asia and the fearlessness of the fighting dogs of Mesopotamia.The difficult conditions of existence and the constant struggle with predators shaped the appearance and tempered the character of this dog, made it strong, fearless, taught to expend energy economically. In the places of their native habitat, Central Asian Shepherds are used mainly as guard dogs, as well as to protect herds from predators.
