The work is based on the rhythmic pattern of the snare drum from Maurice Ravel’s Bolero and is constructed as its precise visual translation.
Each vertical element corresponds to an individual drum stroke, while the spaces between them reflect the durations through the alternation of eighth notes and triplets. The repeating two-bar cycle is unfolded across the surface and establishes a clear structural framework.
As the composition develops, the elements increase in height and color density. The rhythm itself remains unchanged, yet its impact intensifies, shifting from counting into a sense of pulse.
A flute line moves through this structure. It cuts through the rhythm and continues as a continuous motion, without drawing attention away from the underlying system.
Gradually, the orchestra emerges. The relief becomes more complex, tonal relationships intensify, and in the upper part this progression resolves into a burst of light — the culmination of the entire composition.

The work will resonate with those who value structure, rhythm, and clarity, as well as with those who have a refined sensitivity to music. It integrates naturally into contemporary interiors with clean geometry and restrained palettes, functioning equally well in both residential and office spaces, especially in areas requiring focus. It organizes the visual environment and supports clarity of perception.
