There are several legends associated with Raifa, but this one is perhaps the most famous.
It is said that the croaking of the frogs at the local lake was so loud that it interfered with the monks prayers.
One day, unable to bear it any longer, the monks prayed to the Almighty to stop the frogs noise.
Miraculously, the frogs fell silent, and the lake became peaceful.
Since then, the frogs have been actively settling on the shore, but they have kept their vow of silence.
