View on buildings along the embankment of Obvodniy channel in Saint Petersburg. Obvodniy channel was laid in the very beginning of the 19th century and it served as the southern border of Saint Petersburg for some time. Starting from the 2nd half of the 19th century a lot of factories and other facilities were built there and now it is in fact the centre of our city, quieter than the bright and shiny Nevsky prospect and with some kind of a romantic atmosphere of «this used to be industrial» nonchalance.
