This is a view from one of the windows of my favourite museum - the General Staff Building in Saint Petersburg, where the Hermitage keeps its amazing collection of 19-20th century art. Every time I visit this museum, which happens 3-4 times a year, I walk slowly through a gallery of rooms with vivid and charming masterpieces of Cezanne, Matisse Van Gogh and other artists of that poque. And every time my eye catches this view of the roofs across the river - to me it is always really interesting to notice new details or the change of shades that changes the whole impression.
