On the plein air

The work was painted in the open air during the art-festival in the city of Khvalynsk - the birthplace of the great artist Petrov-Vodkin. On this wonderful day, the artists went to the bank of the Volga to paint chalk mountains and the river. The summer turned out to be hot, but we had special umbrellas from the scorching sun.
