I see you". From the "Faces" series.
Portrait of a modern young girl. A beautiful well-groomed face, sharply defined cheekbones, expressive makeup, scarlet lips and not a shadow of a smile. She is calm, determined, self-confident, she has a firm look. The bright blue color frames her face, additionally emphasizing these qualities of the heroine of the canvas. But nevertheless, in the title of the picture, and in the way she looks sideways, without looking into the eyes, there is a hidden subtext and some ambiguity. The main emphasis is on the girls face and gaze, she does not look directly at the viewer, but looks away, as if she does not want to give the opportunity to read in her gaze what she would like to hide. But judging by what we still manage to discern in these eyes, behind the sad, penetrating gaze, there is a lived experience, the absence of illusions, and if she looks straight at you, she will look into your soul, and it will be difficult to look away.
As a background, I used two bright, pure colors: active blue and active yellow, to further emphasize the character of the heroine.
The picture is painted with acrylic on canvas, not stretched on a stretcher, the canvas has indents of 10 cm on each side - to stretch the frame. The painting is carefully rolled into a roll and sent in a roll without a frame in a sturdy tube.
