Elisavetinsky Convent

Elizabeth, as far as it seems to me, was once a nondescript separate village. Even today, many private sector quarters have been preserved on it, but the rapidly developing Yekaterinburg quickly absorbed it and made it its outskirts. The monastery dates back to the 30s of the XIX century and was closed only from the pre-war years before perestroika. As in the old days, the Spassky Monastery is an ornament of our city.
