Canvas (linen Italy Lanificio Prato), oil, 35x30, 2023
Usually I look at the weather forecast before the open air, but then everything somehow happened spontaneously ... The warm sunny evening began to deteriorate quickly and, realizing that I could not finish the picture on location, I stood, clutching the sketchbook and holding the canvas. The strongest wind bent spruces and pines. The palette was blown away somewhere in the field, on arable land, and as usual, oil down ...))) By some miracle, I did not get caught in a downpour, and finished the painting upon arrival home. And after drying, I entered my favorite staffages!)
The sketch was painted on the outskirts of the village of Vasiliev Vrag, Arzamas region.
