The church of Archangel Gabriel is depicted on the Chisty Ponds (Menshikov Tower), an Orthodox church in the Basmanny district of Moscow. It was ordered in 1707 by Alexander Menshikov and built according to the design of Ivan Zarudny. The Menshikov Tower is built in the European style. Its walls are designed in the classical order and decorated with white stone moldings, sculptures, garlands of flowers and fruits. The main entrance is decorated with massive volutes. (Wikipedia)
