The interior of an ancient temple in the Serbian Orthodox monastery in the village of Kovil.
Baroque altar painted during the time of Austria-Hungary. The rest of the canonical icon painting style is fresh; icon painter, a guy from somewhere in Ukraine, still continued to work. I was impressed and at the same time taken aback by such a stylistic discord. Perhaps, I began to paint precisely in order to sort out my feelings.
