Trumpeters of Shid, second version, continuation of the work
Author: Dobrovolskaya Gayane
canvas/oil 60cm x 60cm 2017
The picture seemed unfinished to me, but I did not know what to do with it. Then one of my colleagues gave me a heavenly mixture which he carefully placed in the freezer from the evening: rakia and coca-cola in a ratio of one to ten.
I spread out the canvas, brushes and paints in the shade of the trees, took a sip of ice "cocktail"… Alcohol immediately made its way to where it should go; and in combination with forty-degree heat had a magical, inspiring effect. The tension has disappeared, my eyes and hands have earned, the brushes have danced over the canvas, the colors have gone to where they should go.
