Arriving in the Serbian city of Shid a year later, I learned that grandmother Lyubinka died. "But her portrait remains with us!" - said her daughter-in-law, showing me the "gallery" of their family portraits I have painted in the past year, inserted into cute frames and hanging on the wall in a row.
"There is still benefit from artists!" - I thought.
