The Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourviere is a church on the top of Fourviere Hill, towering above Lyon. The upper temple is consecrated in honor of the Virgin Mary; the crypt below it is consecrated in honor of St. Joseph. Built in a combination of neo-Byzantine and neo-Gothic styles, designed by architect Pierre Bossan (fr.) at the end of the 19th century.
Decorated in a thin pine frame in natural color with a sheet of protective plastic.
