To paint this work, I used a study painted during my first trip to Italy in 2013

Via delle Sette Sale is a street of seven halls, or rather, cisterns, in which water was once heated in the open sun, and there the ancient Romans spent the hottest time of the day.
The church that is visible on the left side of the street is the Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli al Colle Oppio, "St. Peters Basilica in chains on the hill of Oppio." The main attraction of the church is the sculpture Moses by Michelangelo Buonarroti.
The ends of the work are painted over, the frame is not needed.
