I had a dream: to paint a lot of her portraits from photos from the Internet, then somehow meet with her, give her all the portraits, and then she will tell me a little dryly and condescendingly: "Do I owe you something?" , or: "Anything you want in return?"
And then I will declare: "Yes! I want to paint your portrait from life! Pose for me!"
And she will agree... But I didnt have time. She died...
When choosing this photo, I was aware that many peoples idea of Antonova will differ from what is depicted. I liked that there is an open emotion here.
