The painting shows the landscape of the French Alps, a lake in Haute-Savoie.
The author was attracted by the splendor of the reflection of the cloudy sky in the lake, which was very picturesque in itself.
The lake water turned out to be transparent and with that incomparable shade of mountain glacial lakes. Thus, the author shares with the viewer this calm, serene beauty of the moment.
The painting can be hung on the wall without a frame; the image is continued at the ends. A copy of it is offered in the same design, with the transition of the image to the ends and the formation of relief on the canvas.
