Sunset at the mointain lake

The painting depicts a quiet sunset on Ermin Lake, surrounded by mountains. These are the ancient volcanoes of Auvergne, which stopped erupting a long time ago. Theyre not sleeping, theyre dead. In the background is the Puy de Sancy, the highest volcano in Auvergne.
The surface of the lake is sometimes mirrored, sometimes covered with ripples. As a result, the lake reflects its surroundings in different ways. Somewhere there is silver, somewhere there are dark silhouettes of mountains.
It was a painfully quiet and peaceful moment that I wanted to prolong.
The painting can be hung on the wall without a frame; the image is continued at the ends. A copy of it is offered in the same design, with the transition of the image to the ends and the formation of relief on the canvas.
