The composition depicts the base of the volcano with a trail leading upward, surrounded by a dry riverbed, scattered rocks, and earth tones in shades of brown, sandy beige, and deep red iron oxide. Gentle clouds and soft tonalism create an atmosphere of timeless wilderness and volcanic grandeur.
