This work is my research on the topic: seasons - associations. Autumn is the time to reap the fruits, both in the garden and in the garden of your life. In the first work in this series, "Swing", I showed spring, lovers, the emergence of relationships, blooming gardens, birds. And in this work, I talk about the period of maturity. Main characters
- a family collecting pumpkins.Orange pumpkins, like autumn itself, have been associated since ancient times with the beginning of the harvest, the end of the agricultural year. She is also a female symbol, personifying the Great ancestor of all things, the ancient Goddess of fertility. The family works in the garden - an image of everyday work on relationships and spiritual growth both in a couple and in a family with children.
I associate autumn with a fox, because of her red fur coat. And among the ancient Slavs, the fox was a zoomorphic image of the goddess Madder, who stood between Reality and Reality, the living and inanimate worlds. Autumn is just such a period, between summer and winter, a time of transition.
Foxes play golf. There is a legend about the origin of this game: Scottish shepherds beat stones, rolling them into rabbit holes, so they had fun while passing the time. I think its a good entertainment for foxes.
The main characters gaze is directed away, but in fact inward, she contemplates the past, sees the future and enjoys the present.
