The price is for two works, this and this one https://artnow.ru/en/artists/2/23714/picture/0/1025601.html
The sketch was drawn from nature back in 1980.
Inserted in a thin pine frame. The size in the frame is 32x23 cm.
Simonov Assumption Monastery is located in the modern Danilovsky district of Moscow, and was one of the largest and richest monasteries in the capital of Russia.
The fortress wall had five towers. The towers and walls of the Simonov Monastery were built in the 16th century by the architect Fyodor Savelyevich Kon. In 1630, during the reconstruction of the monastery walls, fragments of the old one entered the new fortress, including the “Dulo” ("Muzzle") tower.
Even looking at my "impressionistic" sketch, you can imagine that the tower got its "nickname" for the similarity of its silhouette to the silhouette of a cannon muzzle.
