Autumn, sunset, forest edge

A sketch from nature, written in the evening at the end of October 1987.
The sun disappeared behind the autumn forest, the pink sunset sky shines through the half-flown crowns of trees. There are only some yellow leaves left. In the depths, a mighty oak stretched out its bare branches. In the foreground, thin birch trunks and graceful maple branches are bent.
