Reflection

This work, entitled "Reflection", depicts the morning on the pier, where a view of small hills with a contrasting reflection of the water opens up. Despite the tranquility of the painting, the shadow of the water shows not only the morning time of day, when the sun has not yet risen, but also personifies the artists anxious feelings. The painting was made based on using my own photography as an archive from a trip to Turkey (October 2022, November 2023). Thus, most of the paintings began with the "Observation" series, implying harmonious landscapes in the Mugla region coast at different times of the day. The angle of the position was also taken from the real location.
