Biography

Daniel Tyrtyshnikov Ilyich
Date of Birth: December 15, 1999
Lives and works in Moscow.
Artistic practice: Visual architectural photographer and artist, focused on personal perception of the world through architecture, abstraction, geometry and space. Currently engaged in painting in mixed media acrylic and oils.

His main goal is to show his vision of reality through the prism of the desire to idealise the world in which we live, but realising that it is physically impossible to remake it. In his practice, the artist uses photographs taken from his personal archive as an initial visual, pursuing the same goal - to move away from reality, which can be seen in his architectural and landscape photographs.

On the one hand, the artist strives to show his worldview for the purpose of a simple aesthetic perception of the world. On the other hand, each work reflects a certain part of life, a streak of hopes and difficulties, personal thoughts and experiences that the artist experiences in a certain place. More conscious of his practice came after the project "In Search of a Way Out" 2024, consisting of 9 landscape works and 9 sheets with personal notes about turning points in his life. This project took part in the exhibition "Connection Interrupted. Restore" in Ruarts Gallery. Thus, the artist's goal is not only the desire to decorate the world, but also helps to find a response from the audience in order to cope with various life difficulties together and become stronger.
