Biography
Valentina Amelyanchick was born in 1949 in Khabarovsk (Russian Far East). She was graduated from The Khabarovsk Pedagogical Institute (Art Faculty) in 1971. Valentina became a member of Russian Union of Artists in 1986. In 2003 moved to Saint-Petersburg (Russia) where she lives and woks currently.
Valentina is a true artist, that's why fantastic world, arisen to life by her thought, imagination and talent as so vivid and realistic.
Valentina’s style varies from realistic to abstract to almost futuristic with a very modern, linear feel. She has a great passion for nature which is reflected in her still life paintings. This deep love and curiosity for the natural world drives her to compose powerful detailed renderings of organic forms – flowers, fruit, dragonflies, butterflies and moths – in addition to iconic images of females.
