Biography
I was born in Siberia in 1989. It's a place where space has a voice and silence has weight. I think that's what really shaped my path in art.
I graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Art Institute. That's where I realized that art school is just a foundation, and art really starts when you forget about it.
My painting is an attempt to look beyond the horizon.
I paint in oils using abstract painting and graphic techniques. But to be honest, it's just a way of talking about things that cannot be put into words.
As a child, I saw things that others did not see. Shadows that moved in ways that did not follow the rules. Light where there was none. Adults said, “It was your imagination.” But I knew it wasn't. I just saw further.
My paintings are not art in the usual sense. They are documents. Evidence that reality is thinner than we think. That behind this layer there is another. And another. And another.
I don't expect to be understood. I expect to be felt. By those who can feel beyond the edge.
