1960 was born in Cherepovets, Vologda region
1976 was graduated from children's art school
2008 started to occupy himself with painting in oils
2009 and 2010 participated in exhibitions of Cherepovets artists
2010 and 2013 personal art exhibitions in house museum of Vasiliy Vereschagin
Alexey Vankhonen's paintings are in private collections in Russia, Turkey and China
