Biography

My name is Tatyana. I was born in Kaluga. Creativity and love for drawing have been a common thread throughout my life. From the very first years, as soon as I held my first pencils and pens. Then there was art school, it was my dream to go there. It didn’t work out to study further due to life circumstances, but I decided to develop in the artistic direction on my own. On this path, I met artists, communication with whom helped me a lot. There were books, there was studying the works and biographies of past masters. All this nourished me, inspired me and pushed me to my own creative searches. For me, painting and drawing are another language that the soul speaks. It’s like poetry or music, only in visual images. I like to try new things, I do watercolors most of all, but I also work with gouache and acrylic, there are works in mixed media. Of the styles, impressionism is closest to me, although I do not adhere to strict stylistic frameworks.
