A study from nature. From the series "Crossing Europe".
I was looking at the motive in advance, but when I got ready for sketches, the Mistral blew. The Mistral is a North or North-West wind, which is considered the "scourge of Provence". It was not cold, but the jacket was not superfluous.
How to be? Mistral will carry away everything: paper, brushes, erasers…
Fortunately, I found in the wall a deep niche in which I could hide with all the accessories. I sat down on the camp stool and worked with comfort!
The work is framed in a brown wooden frame and gray passepartout with a sheet of protective plastic.
The size in the frame is 64.5 x 54.5 cm.
