White tiger

The white tiger Baihu, the spirit of the West, lives in China.
People see in him fearless, merciless,
but a harmless sign of truth.
Baihu came from the green cool sea
and brought with him shadow and light,
hope and despair
bridges and the flames that burn them.
Everything carries with it a white tiger, but only the one
to whom he will come out of the thicket of the jungle,
can gain enlightenment.
