Water tower

Winter landscape with an old water tower. Built in 1900 as a water tower of the first water supply system of the city of Ufa.
In 1957, an astronomical station moved to the tower to monitor and control artificial satellites. A dome was installed on the roof for the duration of the operation of the observatory.
In 1976, the observatory was closed.
