It took us a little time to figure out that it was made up of extensions, superstructures, and God knows what else "above" and "under". It hadnt been destroyed by some miracle, and by the same miracle we had reached it. Now we were pushing through the blackberries and wild mallows to examine it from all sides. I didnt have time for a single sketch, because fog was coming in from the river and we were about to leave. How did I manage to remember it?...
