The first frost

It was just the same weather as we have now - the sun and the ground with grass covered with frost..
The borderline state of nature before a long winter sleep..
The painting depicts the moment of sunrise of the autumn sun. It has not yet reached the lowlands, where the first breath of winter has been held.
