Suzdal. Pokrovsky Monastery

Intercession Convent (Suzdal) - a temple complex, located on the right bank of the Kamenka River (a tributary of the Nerl), north of the city of Suzdal. It was founded in 1364 by the Suzdal prince Dmitry III Konstantinovich. I painted this picture based on a small natural study. This time between the melted snow and the first greenery is very fleeting. The weather was sunny during the day already quite warm but in the evenings there are frosts.
