Sami Seydozero

Seydozero is one of the main “places of power” in Russia. In the 1920s, the expedition of Alexander Barchenko, an occult researcher, came here. Experts were interested in the phenomenon of ""меряченье"" (untranslatable, like ""fit""). This is mass hypnosis that occurs in people in certain places during rituals or spontaneously. Scientist Valery Demin was convinced that Hyperborea, a legendary ancient civilization, was located in this area, and found traces of it in the form of huge remains of structures. Just as travelers go to the north of the Kola Peninsula to see whales, they go to Seydozero to see spirits. It is difficult or even impossible to meet both of them))

The painting is part of a large modular painting consisting of 16 canvases, each measuring 30x30 cm. 16 works represent the 4 elements of the earth. The first level of 4 paintings is air. The second level is water. The third level is earth. The fourth level is fire. The idea of the modular painting is to visually represent the places of power in Russia and admire their beauty and grandeur. All 16 paintings are sections of a harmonious artistic ensemble, created in a single style, which, carrying the energy of places of power, improves the owner’s living space. All works are made using silver leaf and a silver marker. Silver is a healing element that, in combination with the energy of a place of power, enhances the therapeutic effect of viewing.
