On the sea

The oil painting "On the sea" shows the changeable mood of the seascape. The setting outgoing sun warms the firmament with warm light for the last seconds. The dark green waters of the sea with foam come ashore, mixing with sand. The twilight sky is thickening over what is happening, enveloping and obscuring everything around.
The landscape is painted in the authors technique of oil palette knife painting. There are elements of surrealism in the plot. An unusual combination of shades gives the work its own flavor.
The ends of the painting are painted and do not require mandatory framing. Before sending, the painting is covered with a protective finish varnish, a suspension is fixed on the reverse side.
