Edificio Metropolis building is one of the symbols of Madrid. The building was erected in 1910 for the insurance company La Union y el Fenix at the intersection of Gran Via and Calle de Alcal according to the canons of French architecture, for its appearance it was necessary to demolish as many as seven houses. Since its opening, Metropolis has won fame of one of the most significant architectural monuments of the capital of Spain.
Now this office building belongs to Metrpolis Seguros.
