This work, titled "Lost Hopes", is my first series in painting, where I used the collage method in painting. The message is that a sinking car is the personification of the consequences of actions that have no justification, after which all hopes for something better are destroyed. Here I used the photograph "Rhine II" by Andreas Gursky and part of a photograph of a car by the photographer Vivienne Maier. In the series, consisting of 4 different color solutions, I was inspired by the color diptychs of Andy Warhol.
