Lilies

In the "style" section, "realism" was indicated. However, this is not a life-size sketch, but a stylistically found, almost decorative composition with beautiful white lilies. Of course, the creation of the image was preceded by observation and several necessary sketches, which allowed us to find the right expression and a more accurate stylization, slightly reminiscent of stained glass.
The flowers are painted mainly with a palette knife, which gives liveliness and a sense of spontaneity, which creates a slight contrast with the thoughtfulness of the composition. For the yellow background, "Indian yellow" is added - the most uncompromising yellow paint in the artists palette.
The combination of white and yellow gives a high noble note, and the drawing violet in combination with blue-green complements the pictorial harmony.
The square format creates a sense of stability. The painting will easily find a place in almost any interior where a sense of style is appreciated.
