Goldfish

Fish in China symbolize wealth, and goldfish symbolize a happy union. There are many legends about the origin of goldfish in the Celestial Empire. These include the living tears of a beautiful girl, the inhabitants of a heavenly palace that came to earth, and the gifts of the ocean depths.
