Golden Eagle

Canvas 35x45, oil, 2020 Ala Prima. One of the most beautiful Kazakh traditions of Mongolia is hunting with a golden eagle. Every year, the Golden Eagle festival takes place here, during which winged predators and their owners compete in agility, speed, and accuracy. There was a time when all over Central Asia they were famous as the most skilled falconers. Their "golden eagles" obediently obtained for owners of rabbits, foxes and even wolves, whose warm fur was vital for survival in cold winters.
