Early spring. Road

Clear blue sky, like the dark furry hats, clouds are covered the tops of trees of dense forest. Before the forest lay meadows and fields covered with snow. A tall, slender birches in the foreground of the picture are poured with bright reddish-gold lights under the rays of the spring sun. On the thawed patches of trees the grass breaks through. On the barely thawed road, along the branched birches, the horse wearily carries a cart loaded with hay. Next to the cart on the snow is an old man, leaning on a cane carved from a tree branch. The long shadows of tall trees lie in even rows in the snow. The sun, making its way through thick clouds, illuminated a winding road that was retreating into the distance.
